Very pleased to announce that Stefan Barth has joined HSFL as a Partner effective February 2026.
Stefan is one of the most seasoned Financial Lines experts in the market. Stefan holds a law degree from the University of Bern and most recently served as Financial Lines Manager Switzerland at Liberty Specialty Markets. Prior to that, he spent many years at Zurich Insurance as Head Technical Underwriting Financial Lines Switzerland and Interim Head Specialties. In these roles, he worked primarily as a portfolio manager, referral underwriter for complex risks, and product manager/developer for all financial lines products, including D&O, professional liability, crime, cyber, etc., with a focus on financial institutions and international transactions.
With his extensive expertise, deep market insight, strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset, Stefan will be a great addition to our team and a trusted partner for our clients.
